Delete your account and data

You can delete your Vocamate account and all data linked to it at any time.

Delete in the app

1. Open the Vocamate app and sign in.
2. Open the Profile tab, the rightmost icon in the bottom menu.
3. Scroll down and tap Hesabımı Sil (Delete my account).
4. Choose a reason and confirm. If you signed up with email, you will be asked for your password.

Delete without the app

If you cannot access the app, email destek@vocamate.info from the address you used for your account with the subject "Account deletion request". After verifying the request, we will delete your account and data within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your name, email address and sign-in details (Firebase Authentication account)
• Your learning progress: learned words, XP, level, streak, favourites, daily goal and settings
• Device information and Premium status records

What may be kept

• The deletion reason you selected and anonymous statistics with no personal information (days used, number of learned words, level, whether you were Premium).
• Records we must keep by law, and purchase records kept by Google Play or Apple themselves.
